All Cornellians have a reason for giving their time, talent, and treasure to Cornell. Join us for a fireside chat with Cornell Trustee and Bostonian Peggy Koenig. We anticipate a wide-ranging conversation touching on Peggy’s Cornell volunteer and philanthropic journeys, as well as her thoughts on the current state of the University and what the future may hold.
About the Speaker:
Peggy currently serves as a vice-chair of the Cornell Board of Trustees, the Chair of the Research and Innovation Committee, and a Councilor for the Cornell Tech Council. In her professional life, she is the chair of Abry Partners. Since its founding in 1989, Abry has focused on media, communications, business, and information services to become one of the most experienced private equity firms investing in North America and Europe. Prior to joining Abry, Peggy was a partner and member of the board of directors of Sillerman Communications Management Corporation, a merchant bank making investments principally in the radio industry. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Carr Center for Human Rights at Harvard’s Kennedy School and the National Board of the Boston-based nonprofit organization Cradles to Crayons. She is also the Producing Director of Black Cap Productions and a member of Citi Private Bank’s North American Advisory Board.
