Attention all singers and music lovers!!! Come join your fellow Cornellians for an informal dinner followed by a fun piano sing along at Democracy Brewing in Boston's Downtown Crossing area.
On certain Friday nights, Mel Stiller, the piano man, has led one of Boston's most unique piano bars for almost 30 years. His piano sing along is a distinctive experience reminiscent of old style Boston charm. Part of what makes it so distinctive is that books with words to more than 500 oldies, rock, pop, and show tune songs are handed out to patrons of all ages, who then eat, drink, and, as a community, sing from 8:00–10:00PM. The proximity of the piano to the patrons, and Mel's interaction with the crowd, adds to the piano bar's uniqueness.
We will meet at Democracy Brewing at 6:30PM as a group for dinner and drinks (self funded) and then join the community sing along at 8PM. Please register to help with confirming our restaurant reservations. If you would like to just join for the sing along, come anytime after 8PM.
