A botanic garden not only stewards natural beauty—it’s a living museum and an outdoor classroom. Join fellow Cornellians for a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the historic Mount Auburn Cemetery! Please join us for the Cornell Club of Boston’s premier event of the year, the Annual Keynote Reception, where you can enjoy connecting with fellow Cornellians over heavy appetizers and drinks. We' will hear from Christopher Dunn, the Elizabeth Newman Wilds Executive Director of Cornell Botanic Gardens, for his presentation on “Horticultural Diplomacy”. Learn how Cornell’s campaign to “do the greatest good” will allow us to connect plants and peoples for a world of beauty, diversity, and hope.
Come for an expert overview of Cornell Botanic Gardens and stay for the second part of our program, the CCOB Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting will include voting on this year’s slate of Cornell Club of Boston board members and some CCOB updates for the months ahead.
Our Annual Keynote Reception will conclude with a tour of Mount Auburn Cemetery: A National Historic Landmark and the very first garden cemetery in the United States!
